LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - The man who allegedly robbed two insurance businesses is now behind bars.
Laredo Police were able to arrest 22-year-old Joseph Ramirez in the case.
According to police they received a call from an insurance business located on Saunders saying that a man went inside and robbed the place with a gun and made off with $140.
When the man took the money, he took off in a white Chevy.
Police were able to put a lookout for the vehicle and were able to spot the car later in the afternoon.
Ramirez was the passenger at the time of the traffic stop and was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.
The officer found a gun inside the vehicle, which ended up being a pellet gun.

Laredo Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly robbed two insurance businesses.
According to police at around 9:30 am on Wednesday morning the man entered the business located on 1700 E. Saunders wearing pajama like clothing and a beanie.
Police say the man allegedly displayed a firearm to one of the employees and made off with $70.
The man was then seen leaving in a white Nissan Altima.
