Border Patrol presents PACT program to the Logistics and Manufacturing Association

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - Agents with the Laredo Sector Border Patrol held a presentation on its Pre-Enrolled Access Commercial Traffic (PACT) Lane program to the Logistics and Manufacturing Association Port Laredo.

On January 11th Border Patrol officials gathered at the LCC Fort McIntosh campus to present its PACT program to approximately 25 people from U.S. Customs Brokers, freight forwarding companies, as well as other importing and exporting organizations.

The PACT program plays a crucial role in expediting and facilitating the flow of trade and travel within the U.S.

The program has shown results in reducing traffic and wait times at the checkpoint.

The PACT program currently has 15 participating companies and is looking to recruit more transportation partners.
