CBP seizes over four-million dollars worth of narcotics

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - More than four-million dollars’ worth of narcotics are seized by Customs and Border Protection at a Laredo Port of Entry.

According to CBP, the incident happened at the Lincoln Juarez bridge where an agent referred a Chevy Tahoe to secondary inspection.

The passengers and the driver were all residents from Dallas.

A canine alerted to 24 packages containing 137 pounds of crystal meth and six packages containing 48 pounds of heroin.

The driver and the passengers were arrested and the case was turned over to Homeland Security.
