Rio Grande Valley, Texas (NBC) - A contract is set to be awarded in May for three miles of a border wall in the Rio Grande Valley.

A notice was posted on a government website that the contract would be for three miles of wall built on existing river levees along the Rio Grande.
The contract is said to be worth about 25 to 100 million dollars, but it’s still contingent on Congress.
It is believed that the notice refers to the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge.
Border Patrol officials have publicly said they would start construction on the wall in that area since it is a government owned property.
