LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - If you are eligible to renew your DACA status, Catholic Charities and the Mexican Consulate General are here to help.
Wednesday was one of two DACA renewal events taking place at the offices of Catholic Charities.
DACA permit holders can get the help they need at no cost at Catholic charities except for the application fee of $495, which goes to the federal government.
There are representatives on hand to help make sure everything is done correctly.
In addition to a current DACA permit, representatives will also need a social security card and two passport-sized photos for the DACA renewal process.
DACA recipients have until October 5th to renew.
A second event is happening on Monday, September 18th also at the offices of Catholic Charities located at 1919 Cedar Avenue from eight in the morning until six pm. For more information you can call 722-2443.
