(NBC) - Flooding has prompted UPS, Fedex and the US Postal Service to temporarily suspend deliveries for parts of Texas and Louisiana.
The halt could potentially disrupt critical supplies of medicine, food and other packages residents rely on.
It is unclear how the halt is affecting online deliveries on products such as prescriptions.
CVS says people in the region affected can get a one-time emergency refill for a ten day supply.
