Four people arrested in drug raid at South Laredo home

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - Four people are arrested during a raid led by the Laredo Police Department.

Laredo Police arrested 36-year-old Jessica de la Torre, 18-year-old Antonio de la Torre, 17-year-old Gilbert de la Torre, and 18-year-old Eder de la Cruz in the case.

On December 1st, the Laredo Police Department Narcotics Unit organized a sting operation to execute a search warrant at the 2400 block of Santa Clara Street.

Officers received an anonymous tip that drug transactions were taking place at a mobile home.

During the operation police say they witnessed drug purchases being made at the location.

At around 5:55 pm the Laredo Police Narcotics Unit/ Laredo Police SWAT team approached the residence and entered the mobile home.

When officers entered the home, they found the four alleged suspects inside, along with two packages of alleged marijuana. Officers also found clear plastic bags, which also contained alleged marijuana.

According to authorities, the package and the bags were tossed out of the window when the SWAT team entered the home.

Upon further search of the home, officers also found a black safe that contained $883.00.

All four of the individuals were charged with possession of marijuana.
