(NBC) - Fourteen people were killed in a mass shooting at a drug rehabilitation center in the northern Mexico border state of Chihuahua.
Officials say 13 people died at the scene and another died at an area hospital.
The motive for Tuesday’s attack remains under investigation.
Drug cartels have been known to use rehab centers to recruit addicts and rival gangs sometimes attack them.
Such attacks were common between 2010 and 2012.
