Laredo, Texas (KGNS) - If you would like to learn more about the history and architecture of Laredo, there’s a special exhibit going on at the Border Heritage Museum this month.
The museum held a reception on Wednesday for the Historic Laredo photo contest.
The entries were all vying to be a part of the 2018 Historic Laredo Calendar, a contest that is held every year by the Heritage Foundation.
The organization’s director, Margarita Araiza says the competition is tough, but it’s a way for photographers to get a better view of the city.
The first place winner was Josh Serna with a photo of Manadas Creek.
The exhibit will be on display through the month of January.
The calendar featuring all the winning photos is now on sale to the public.
