Warmer air is expanding east and northeast from the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico. This will bring temperatures further above 90 than on Monday. A cold front over the Rockies will move south into our area Wednesday. A shallow layer of gulf moisture arriving by Wednesday will bring more clouds into our skies. Moist air lifting above the southern edge of the cooler airmass from the Rockies may be sufficient for scattered showers Friday up to dawn Saturday.
I'm expecting clear and breezy tonight, low in the low 60's. Sunny Tuesday, high in the low to mid 90's. Partly cloudy Wednesday, high in the upper 80's. Mostly cloudy Thursday, drizzle is possible in the morning, high in the low to mid 80's. Mostly cloudy Friday with a chance of scattered showers, high in the mid 80's. A chance of an early morning shower Saturday, then mostly sunny in the afternoon, high in the low 90's. Mostly sunny Sunday and Monday, high in the low to mid 80's.
