LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - A man is arrested for allegedly stealing tools worth over $200 from a vehicle.
Laredo Police believe 35-year-old Miguel Mondragon is responsible for the alleged crime.
According to police on August 24th at around 7:30 pm at night, they were called out to 5700 block of San Bernardo Avenue for a burglary of a vehicle call.
When officers arrived they met with the victim who stated that at around seven, a man (Mondragon) approached his truck’s tool box and allegedly stole one cobalt ratchet, a husky ratchet set and a husky socket set. The total value of the items is about $230.00.
A witness stated that he has the suspect on dashcam video and that he would download it to a USB and turn it over to the police.
Police were able to review the footage and found out the suspect’s license plates, which led police to Mondragon.
Mondragon was arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle, and theft.
