LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - A 22-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to an underage girl and even attempting to meet with her.
The girl who was posing as a 13-year-old was actually a law enforcement officer.
The sting came as part of the nationwide program called the, ‘Safe Childhood Imitative', which launched back in 2006 by the Department of Justice.
Twenty-two-year-old Ruben Morin is facing felony charges of coercion, enticement of a minor and transfer of obscene materials to a minor.
If convicted, Morin faces a minimum of 10 years or a maximum of life in prison.
