(NBC) - Your in-flight entertainment just got a little more entertaining.
Netflix will reportedly start partnering with airline companies next year to provide them with mobile streaming technology.
According to a report from Variety, the move is part of efforts to get airlines to offer better in flight, WiFi services.
The reason behind it is simple, the better the WiFi, the more passengers can use it to stream Netflix on planes instead of having to download the content before they board.
Netflix has partnered with airlines before to offer free WiFi, including Virgin America and Australia’s Qantas Airlines.
