(CNN) - The popular Stephen King reboot 'It' is set to hit theaters next week, and everyone is excited, however professional clowns are not.

According to Time Magazine, the World Clown Association is bracing for a wave of backlash from the upcoming film that features an evil clown.

In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, the president of the association says some of its members have lost work or even had the police called on them.

The WCA has even issued a press kit for professional clowns to prepare for the release of the movie.

'It' rolls into theaters September eighth.
