(NBC) - Security teams on both sides of the U.S./Mexico border are busy in preparation of President Trump’s visit to the site where the eight prototypes of border wall stand only about 300 feet from the border.
Mexico officials and Navy are expected to have a heavy presence in the Tijuana neighborhood that is closest to the prototypes.
On Tuesday the president will examine prototypes for future towering barriers to separate the United States and Mexico.
Trump is expected to be briefed on lessons learned from the construction of the prototypes built in San Diego last fall.
According to Homeland Security, Trump will also meet border agents and officers to ask what they need.
