Hundreds protest in Washington D.C. for 'Clean Dream Act'

(NBC) - Hundreds of demonstrators from across the country rallied in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, calling on congress to pass a clean Dream Act.

Clean refers to not being attached to other legislative agendas such as President Trump’s border wall.

The act would protect about 800,000 children of undocumented immigrants, allowing them a chance to live, work and go to school without fear of deportation.

Congress has until March to find a solution after President Trump ended the Deferred action for DACA.
