Sanctuary cities suit dismissed

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - There are approximately 20 days until the controversial bill known as SB-Four is set to go into effect across the state.

Starting on September first, Senate Bill Four will allow law enforcement to question the immigration status of anyone they detain.

As the lawsuit against the bill continues, a federal judge denies Attorney General Ken Paxton’s request to dub the state’s new sanctuary cities ban constitutional.
