There are indications that the cap of desert air aloft is weakening. A weak wave with a slightly deeper layer of gulf moisture will move west, bringing a slim chance of brief isolated showers with the sea breeze each late afternoon Friday and Saturday. The amount of moisture available to the sea breeze is marginal, and the showers that do form would be scattered. Desert air will begin to return above with sunnier and hotter weather Sunday through midweek.
I'm expecting humid and breezy tonight, some patchy low clouds in the morning, low in the upper 70's. Partly sunny Thursday, highs around 100. Partly cloudy with a slight chance of a sea breeze shower late Friday,Saturday, and Sunday, highs near 100. Partly to mostly sunny Monday through Wednesday, highs a bit above 100.
