USDA recalls smoked sausage

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - A Texas company is recalling more than 205 tons of beef smoked sausage due to an ingredient issue.

The USDA says the recall by J Bar B Foods involves beef brisket and smoked sausage.

The problem involves items that have a pork casing that is not declared on the label.
Some consumers may suffer allegoric reactions but so far no one has reported getting sick.
The 12 ounce items say H-E-B Texas Heritage Sausage Smoked with natural hardwood beef brisket”
Consumers should discard the recalled meat or return it to the place of purchase.
