LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - Several students with special needs got a special treat on Tuesday morning as part of an early Valentine’s Day celebration.
Students from the special education departments of United South, LBJ and Cigarroa High School and Cigarroa Middle School took part in the special event.
Students got a chance to have fun and show off their moves on the dancefloor.
Webb County Commissioner Jesse Gonzalez says the event is a very beautiful event for the students to take part in.
This is the first Valentine’s Day celebration for special needs students.
Commissioner Gonzalez hopes to continue the tradition next year with even more schools participating.
