LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - The Texas Secretary of State addresses leaders from communities along the Texas/Mexico border in Laredo.
On Thursday, dozens of representatives from cities and county’s gathered to discuss issues affecting the border.
Among the many themes discussed include NAFTA, border security and infrastructure.
As the secretary of state, Rolando Pablos serves as the governor’s representative for the border area.
Leading expert on international trade and finance Gerry Schwebel says this is a great opportunity to learn how he views border critical issues.
The Texas Border Coalition represents more than 2.5 million people in dozens of border communities from Brownsville to El Paso.
