(NBC) - A jury began deliberations in the trial of Charles Dean Bryant, the suspect accused of murdering a Texas Woman’s University student two years ago.
Twenty-four-year-old Jacqueline Vandagriff died while having sex with Bryant back in 2016.
Police later found her burned and dismembered body by a lake.
A jury deliberated for less than three hours before declaring Bryant guilty of murder.
Bryant faces up to life in prison for Vandagriff’s murder, tampering with evidence, and unrelated child pornography charges.
