Warm and increasingly humid air from the gulf will flow over our area through Sunday. Humid gulf air will occupy a deepening layer of the atmosphere with more clouds in our skies beginning Thursday. A wave in the upper level wind flow and frontal system at the surface will approach from the west Sunday. The combination of humid gulf air and lifting motion that will result will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday. Somewhat lower temperatures will follow Monday and Tuesday with chances of showers.
I'm expecting mostly clear tonight, low in the mid to high 50's. Mostly sunny Wednesday, high in the low to mid 80's. Partly to mostly cloudy and more humid Thursday through Saturday, high around 80. Partly to mostly cloudy Sunday with a chance of showers and thundershowers, high in the low 80's. Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower Monday and Tuesday, high Monday in the 70's, the 60's Tuesday.
