LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - The results for the new 'A' through 'F' system were presented to the U.I.S.D. Board of Trustees.
U.I.S.D. outranked many other districts in thee state of Texas with the rate of an A.
Although U.I.S.D. did well overall, there were certain areas, such as attendance, that brought scores down at certain campuses.
This sort of grading system has already got the district worried and has seen opposition from several other districts such as L.I.S.D.
The district is emailing state representatives about opinions they have regarding the new system, as well as getting more information from conferences and groups such as Lead-Four-Ward.
