Moist gulf air is beginning to lift over our part a large cold airmass centered over the northern Mississippi Valley. This will bring a low cloud deck, and as a deeper layer of gulf air arrives, patchy drizzle late tonight and Tuesday. The humid southerly winds aloft will likely erode the shallow layer of cool air, and arrive at the surface during Wednesday. Skies will clear during Wednesday afternoon, and temperatures will rise Wednesday afternoon through Friday. A new cool airmass from the Great Plains will likely reach south Texas by Saturday with a chance of drizzle.
I.m expecting cloudy with possible drizzle late tonight, low in the mid 40's. Cloudy with patches of drizzle Tuesday, high in the 50's. Patches of drizzle Wednesday morning, clearing in the afternoon, high in the low 70's. Partly cloudy Thursday and Friday, high in the 80's. Cloudy with drizzle possible Saturday, high in the high 50's. Clearing Sunday afternoon and Monday, high in the 70's Sunday, the 80's Monday.
