Drier tropical air moving north from Mexico will begin to thin out our thick layer of gulf humidity Tuesday afternoon. This will lead to sunnier, warmer afternoons. A shallow layer of gulf air may still be sufficient for morning cloud or patchy fog. A hint of influence from the Mexican Plateau may bring especially warm weather Friday. Cooler air from the Great Plains will lower temperatures a bit next weekend.
I'm expecting mostly cloudy and humid tonight, a chance of a shower, low in the mid 60's. Clearing Tuesday afternoon, high around 80. Morning clouds or patchy fog is possible Wednesday through Thursday, sunny and warm afternoons, highs in the 80's. Sunny and very warm Friday, high in the upper 80's. Partly to mostly sunny Saturday through Monday, highs in the 70's.
