The shallow cool Great Plains airmass of Tuesday and Wednesday has mixed away, allowing a shallow layer of humid gulf air to return. Higher aloft, the air has dried out a bit. This will mean sunnier weather each afternoon, but a more humid feel to the air with the shallow layer of moist gulf air, A cold front will reach south Texas Sunday afternoon with a chance of a shower. Cooler, drier air will follow Sunday evening through Tuesday.
