LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - The Webb County Sheriff’s Office held its annual Share-A-Bear event.
The goal of the program is to help bring a smile to children who have endured some sort of trauma.
Many were seen donating stuffed teddy bears at the Mall in front of Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Two young girls purchased a bear, not for themselves but to donate to children in need of a stuffed friend.
This is the sixth year in a row that the sheriff’s office has held the event.
Teddy bears will be handed out to children who have experienced trauma as a result of a crime.
If you could not make it out to the event, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office will be collecting bears until November third.
