A cool dry airmass from the Great Plains will bring mostly clear skies and cool temperatures tonight. An approaching upper level low will bring increasing clouds Thursday and cloudy skies Thursday night. A scattered shower is possible from moisture above 10,000'. The atmosphere below will be rather dry which will help evaporate rain drops as the y fall into the dry air below the clouds. The upper level low will move to our east Friday with warmer drier air moving in aloft and near the surface. Sunnier warmer weather will result Friday and Saturday. Another upper level low will approach late Sunday and especially Monday. More low level moisture from the gulf will come into play, and we will have a better chance of showers Monday. Drier warm air follows by Wednesday.
I'm expecting mostly clear and chilly tonight, low in the low 40's, colder on low lying ground. Increasing clouds Thursday, high in the low 70's. Cloudy Thursday night with a slight chance of a brief shower, low in the mid 50's. Clearing Friday and Saturday, highs in the low 80's Friday, the upper 80's Saturday. Increasing clouds Sunday, a slight chance of a shower, high in the mid 80's. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers Monday, high in the 70's. Mostly cloudy Tuesday, high in the 70's. Clearing Wednesday, high in the 80's.
