Cold air aloft with a wave in the upper level wind flow in combination with the lower atmosphere cooling with the partial evaporation of falling rain may bring temperatures below freezing within 2,000' of the ground. There is a slight chance that snowflakes could reach the ground before melting during mid-late Thursday morning. The ground is too warm for snow to stick. Drier air will follow with clearing skies Friday.
I'm expecting rain to develop overnight, low in the mid to high 30's. Rain Thursday, some snowflakes may mix in during the morning, high in the low 40's. Clearing Friday, high in the mid 50's. Mostly sunny Saturday through Wednesday, high in the high 60's to low 70's.
