LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - The future of the Harmony Science Academy was discussed at Tuesday's Kiwanis meeting.

Representatives from the Academy stopped by the Laredo Kiwanis Club to discuss what they provide as far as curriculum, extra-curriculars and their plans for the next school year.

Representatives from the Academy stopped by to discuss what they provide as far as curriculum, extra-curriculars and their plans for the next school year.

According to the Outreach Coordinator for Harmony, what they really wanted to focus on in Tuesday's presentation was the campuses they have here in Laredo.

"We do have three campuses in Laredo, which is Harmony School of Innovation kinder through fifth grade. And we currently have Harmony Science Academy, which for next year will be sixth through eighth grade. And then we'll be having the new campus hopefully open in August, which will be Harmony School of Excellence. Which will be ninth through twelfth grade," says Nicole Ramanos, of the Harmony Science Academy.

Ramanos says for any parents interested in applying their kids for the Academy, admission is not based on district or GPA. But it is randomized, so all admission is encouraged.
