KGNS is the dominant TV station in Laredo, due to the combined strength of KGNS NEWS, NBC, CBS, ABC, CW, TELEMUNDO and the web powerhouse KGNS.TV. Our Busy, client-focused and team driven office needs a reliable, well-organized Office Manager to handle the day to day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The individual chosen will handle various administrative duties and provide administrative support to the General Manager and include supervision of selected staff. As an office manager, you will be part of the senior leadership of our operation and help guide our journey to success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
***Accounting duties as prescribed by our Shared Services Department and General Manager including:
o Credit and Collections
***Human Resources & Payroll duties as prescribed by our corporate Human Resource Department including:
o New hire on-boarding
o Time Card administration
o Employee HR liaison
***Assistant to the General Manager:
o Budget preparation
o Expense Control
o Accounts Payable processing
o Office supply inventory and management
- B.A. or Associates Degree preferred (But not required)
- Previous office management experience is a plus!
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
- Experience in budgeting and payroll
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.)
- Must be English speaking (Spanish Bilingual is a plus)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
