CVS app makes ordering prescriptions easier

The app also allows customers to check for potential drug interactions and identify pills that have been taken out of their original packaging.

Instead of calling the pharmacy for a refill, or even driving there to get it, you can now scan the bar code on your CVS prescription for an instant refill.

(NBC) - CVS Caremark has unveiled a new app that makes it easier for consumers to get long-term prescriptions.

Instead of calling the pharmacy for a refill, or even driving there to get it, you can now scan the bar code on your CVS prescription for an instant refill.

The pharmacy then fills a 90-day supply of the medicine, rather than the usual 30-day supply.

The app also allows customers to check for potential drug interactions and identify pills that have been taken out of their original packaging.
