LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- The city is seeking help to provide more comprehensive services to people who are HIV positive.
A grant requesting $400,000 per year for the next four years has been submitted.
If it is approved the city's health department would no longer have to refer HIV positive patients to other agencies around the city for comprehensive care.
Right now, the health department serves close to 300 people through their HIV services.
