LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) - Law enforcement agencies were out on Highway 59 Wednesday morning continuing their investigation on the fatal accident that killed four people.
They are now releasing their names:
Atlagracia Padron Segura, 36.
Juana Maria Martinez, 29.
Bianca Yanely Alvarez, 4.
Monserrat Nicole Martinez, 1.
These were the passengers of the black Chevrolet, who were all declared dead at the scene.
According to the preliminary investigation by the Department of Public Safety, a black Chevrolet passenger car was headed west on Highway 59.
The driver attempted to pass another vehicle without sufficient clearance.
This led to the head-on collision with a tractor trailer travelling east.

Four people have lost their lives in an accident off of Highway 59 Tuesday morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the incident happened around 12:00 pm.
Laredo police and the Webb County Sheriff's Office closed off the area, but the area is now open.
The Webb County Sheriff's Department told KGNS a car and semi-truck crashed into each other.
There is no word yet on the circumstances behind the incident.
The investigation is being led by the DPS.
