Computer responsible for World Wide Web to display at science museum

(NBC) - It might look old and clunky now, but it led to one of the most significant inventions of modern times.

This computer was used 25 years ago to invent the World Wide Web. The British scientist submitted the first proposal for the Web on March 12th, 1989.

The historic object will go on display at London's Science Museum today.
