LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- The school year is coming to an end and one school district is teaming up with local law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe end of the year for students and parents.
The Laredo Independent School District will be increasing their security at all their schools.
Officers from different agencies will be in walking in the hallways and sitting down with students during lunch.
The LISD police, the Constables, Webb County Sheriffs and Laredo Police will be joining the district in this initiative until the end of the school year.
