United States General Service Administration are new owners of World Trade Bridge

The G.S.A. hopes to save the American taxpayer money and better serve the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The city of Laredo transfers ownership of World Trade Bridge to G.S.A.

The U.S. General Services Administration announced its recent acquisition of the World Trade Bridge, which lies on property that is now leased by G.S.A. from the city of Laredo.

In a statement released Thursday, G.S.A. said through federal ownership they will be able to save the American taxpayer money and better serve the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency.

The ownership allows G.S.A. to begin several construction projects.
