Webb County Sheriff’s Office of Pct. 3 makes arrest on state jail felony charges

OILTON, TX (KGNS) - Webb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, along with Precinct 3 Deputy Constables, arrest a man after conducting an investigation involving theft.

Juan Carlos Garza, 40, was remanded to the Webb County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Garza’s arrest came following a theft report that had occurred at the Whitetail Wind Farm in Oilton, TX, where several specialized tools and computer equipment had been stolen.

Deputy Constables contacted the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division to utilize specialized software to aid with the investigation. With this software, Sheriff’s Investigators were able to locate the stolen items at several pawn shops in Webb County.

The stolen items were valued at over $7,000.00.
