Microsoft unveils emergency browser fix for Windows XP

(NBC) - Microsoft is helping hundreds of Windows XP users with an emergency browser fix.

Microsoft has issued a security patch to fix a serious bug found in Internet Explorer. Customers who have automatic updates won't need to take any action.

The announcement comes after recent attacks by hackers.
