(NBC) - Mitt Romney split from most Congressional Republicans Friday by calling for a raise in the national minimum wage.
The former Republican presidential candidate says raising the wage fits with the GOP philosophy of more jobs and better pay.
During the interview, he also ruled out a third run for the White House in 2016.
Romney said he's re-entered the business world, and will be attending a Marriott board meeting in Washington.
