OREGON (NBC) - An Oregon winery is trying a unique approach to packaging and selling wine.

The Union Wine Company is marketing its wine in aluminum cans, much like beer in a six.

The wines, which retail for about $6.00 a can or $24.00 for a four pack, come in pinot noir and pinot gris.

While wine taste is paramount, the company says package is also important for wine connoisseurs on the go.

The canned wines are available on the company's web sites as well as in select cities and states.
