Back in May, it was put on the market for $1.1 million.

Burdick said once the home sold the profit would go to SAMMinistries to help families with children in danger of being facing homeless.

The good deed came with a blessing.

In just three months the home sold, and Burdick handed over the check to SAMMinistries for $103,000 for its homeless prevention program.

Navarra Williams, President/CEO of SAMMinistries, says this money will go a long way in helping more than 200 San Antonio families with children.
