Wal-Mart to start carrying used video games

People can trade in old video games for gift cards.

Used games will be refurbished and resold as "Certified Pre-Owned."

(CNN) - Watch out, Gamestop! Wal-Mart is entering the used video game sales business.

The world's largest retailer has announced it will soon let gamers trade in their old video game discs for gift cards.

Wal-Mart says it will accept all working, undamaged copies of games for modern consoles, such as the Wii, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Used games will be refurbished and resold as "Certified Pre-Owned."
