(NBC) - British actor Bob Hoskins has died.
Hoskins' career spanned more than three decades and included leading roles in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Mona Lisa."
A statement from his wife and children said he died "peacefully at a hospital last night surrounded by family, following a bout of pneumonia."
In 2012, Hoskins announced he was retiring from acting and was suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
He died at the age of 71.
