Alice Cooper receives White Castle's highest honor

Who knew that rock legend and Hall of Famer Alice Cooper was such a fan of White Castle sliders?

The 66-year-old shock rocker, whose real name is Vincent Furnier, visited White Castle's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio Monday for the induction ceremony.

COLUMBUS, OHIO (NBC) - Who knew that rock legend and Hall of Famer Alice Cooper was such a fan of White Castle sliders?

In fact, Cooper is such a devotee of the signature square burgers, that he was inducted into White Castle's "Craver's Hall of Fame."

The 66-year-old shock rocker, whose real name is Vincent Furnier, visited White Castle's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio Monday for the induction ceremony.

He told about 250 fans that he grew up on White Castle burgers and never got over the cravings.

Cooper also played an impromptu song with the local band, "Misfit Toys" during his induction.

Tonight, Cooper and his band open for Motley Crue at the Ohio State University Campus Arena.
