LAREDO, TEXAS (UISD) - On May 21, 2014, a celebration was held at Bonnie Garcia elementary to recognize the campus’ outstanding success in the radKIDS program.

The radKIDS program is a school wide personal empowerment safety education program that teaches students in grades 1-5 that “no one none has the right to hurt anyone” and that there are safe and effective ways to avoid becoming a victim.

Bonnie Garcia is officially the first elementary school in UISD and Texas to become a zero victimization school.

During the celebration, Principal Dr. Cordelia Nava cheerfully accepted a congratulatory proclamation from radKIDS program CEO/Founder Stephen M. Daley.
