City of Laredo attempts to conserve water

Committees for the City of Laredo are reviewing a recommendation by the Utilities Department to update current water conservation ordinances.

It takes a lot to keep plants green during the summertime.

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Committees for the City of Laredo are reviewing a recommendation by the Utilities Department to update current water conservation ordinances.

Part of a long-reaching master plan, it hopes to bring down water use from 146 gallons per person per day to 110 in twenty years. Part of those changes may involve some fees.
