LAREDO, TEXAS (KGNS) -- It's hard to pinpoint exactly where a college degree will take someone.
Yesenia Ramirez graduated this past Saturday, with her psychology degree.
Luckily for Ramirez, Laredo diverse job market is good news for recent graduates.
Celine Maniece is the director of employer relations at tamiu.
Maniece says the fields with the most job offerings are logistics, business and law enforcement.
So it's no surprise the university's most popular degrees are in criminal justice and business administration.
But what does the job market look like for people with other degrees?
Maniece says graduates will have a hard time finding jobs in mass communications, communication disorders and psychology.
Not the kind of news graduates like Yesenia Ramirez were hoping for.
Maneice adds that if you're having a hard time finding a job in your field, consider switching fields.
Also jobs will usually pay more if your bilingual but that might require moving to another city.
