LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Councilman Jorge Vera talked to KGNS about low voter turnout in Laredo.

Vera says that low participation in elections translates to less representation, ultimately meaning less state and federal funding. Vera says he would like to get voters more engaged with door-to-door voting drives before the November election.
